This is a continuatioon of the trials and misfortunes of Detective Miguel "Sherlockito" Sanchez and partner Steven Boyd (nephew of the eccentric Inspector Martin Boyd), as told by the old chief. The boys were working into their second year in exile, instituted by the devious Chief Inspector Boyd, with chances of returning to the Detectives Division same as the 62 Mets beating on the Big Red Machine, so long as the old man remained at the helm. Their desperate situation began to create some equally desperate measures in their minds to solve their dilemma.. Dark and evil thoughts crept into their reasoning; thoughts the two would never entertain a few years past, but they were not the same two blokes as before. The inspector had ingeniously devised two diabolically clever scenarios to teach them a stern lesson -- or so he thought -- after they botched up the handling of the Gomer Franklin case. What he did not know, by doing so, he had created two distraught subordinates, bent on removing their tormentor from his post; therefore freeing them from his vise-like grip. Of course, this did not just happen. Much soul searching and debate occurred before they would make this life changing decision and how far the would go to achieve their objective. Could the two become something close to criminals to relieve themselves of the weight pressed on them, or culd they do it; sort of, legally, by just getting the old pain in the ass booted from his post so that they could return to their old detective gigs? And what of Chief Inspector Boyd, would he take counter measures to take some sort of revenge on the duo. As the story churs on, murders, blackmail, money laundering, and other inappropriate behavior takes place. Eventually a strange alliance is formed by three most unlikely individuals, all bent on doing in the detective team of Mike and Steve. In numbers the trio are storng, but would their enormous egos allow them to cooperate in a common goal? As before, Mike's wife Tracy becomes deeply involved in the procedings. And as before, is usually right.Tune in lovers of Detective Sherlockito for another wild ride.
